Henry Mayo Offers Special Pricing for Breast Cancer Screenings

Approximately one in eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer over the course of their lifetime. It is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer among U.S. women behind skin cancer. Unable to ignore these staggering statistics, the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital is making early detection and prevention its first priority.
 
The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center is offering a special cash price of $180 for digital screening mammograms through July in an effort to ensure the women in our community can obtain
this vital breast screening. The Breast Imaging Center also offers grants and other programs throughout the year to patients who are uninsured or underinsured and need financial assistance for screenings.
 
The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center was created through the experiences of breast cancer survivors and designed with a woman's physical and emotional needs in mind.
