Hospital Expansion Open House Planned

Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital has embarked on a 15-year Master Plan to add key services and capacity for our growing community and will be hosting an open house to discuss the progress of the hospital expansion.

Topics covered at the open house will include the upcoming construction of a much-needed parking structure to improve facility access, the return of helipad to ensure the hospital retains its trauma center designation, and the progress of the state-of-the art intensive care and the neonatal intensive care units.
 
The master plan expansion includes the addition of up to 120 hospital beds, a neonatal intensive care unit, additional surgery suites, expanded imaging services and intensive care unit, parking structures, and medical office buildings to help support the development of “Centers of Excellence.” The plan will also allow the hospital to retain its designation as the only trauma center serving the Santa Clarita Valley.
