NICU Construction Underway

Construction on Henry Mayo's first-ever Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) began with a "wall busting" celebration on December 14, 2010.

This high tech NICU will offer a warm and nurturing environment to meet the needs of our tiniest patients right here in Santa Clarita.  Among the highlights of the 4,400 square foot NICU are 11 special infant beds, state-of-the-art monitoring systems, private suites with support spaces for families and two rooms designed and dedicated exclusively for multiple births.

The new NICU will give parents peace of mind knowing that Henry Mayo is prepared for any pregnancy.

Slated to open in December 2011, the NICU is made possible as a result of the generosity of Kim and Steve Ullman who have pledged funds toward this vital project that will bear their name.
