Why was it so important that the Master Plan be approved?

Our community is growing and changing so it is important to all of us that we continue to have locally all of the superb healthcare resources we need now and in the future.
Henry Mayo's Master Plan will allow for this by adding more patient beds, assuring the continuation of our trauma center and adding new medical office buildings for physicians moving into our community. Nobody likes to be far from home when they need medical care, and the best way to ensure local resources is to approve the Master Plan.
